Fairbairn is a micro version of the classic Tattersall. Using blue and navy with a micro-scale gives the fabric an urban, contemporary feel, while the predominance of white and the proportions of the Tattersall pattern allow it to retain the elements of classic British style from which it’s inspired.
White contrast features in the inner cuffs, inner placket and inner collar add interest, lightness, and a kind of architectural depth to the overall shirt design – enhanced by the subtle navy accents in the inner collar tape and final button stitching.
