We’ve been working for some time to introduce what we consider to be the finest
compasses we’ve ever made. We’re now very excited to be launching what’s been
dubbed, internally, the apotheosis of the Dalvey Compass.
Dalvey is a family company, owned and run by Sir Patrick Grant and his sons, Neil and Duncan.
The historic territory of Clan Grant is Strathspey: our motto, “Stand Fast, Craigellachie”, makes reference to the mountain that looms over much of the strath, and from which great fires were lit to muster clansmen for battle. In fact our name, Dalvey, refers to the territory owned by our branch of the clan back in the 17th century.
